Wellness is an industry. Lot of misinformation floats around & in the current environment it's hard to separate the genuine from the hype. The individual needs to be on top of his game.

Recent research tells that women don't need to train differently based on where they are on their menstrual cycles. I have been following the work of scientists, Stuart Phillips & Dr Lauren Colenso & finding it insightful. Check them out if you are curious.

End of the day it's about keeping things simple & staying consistent. But who wants simple?

Who wants simple indeed - if things are straightforward, no one wants it.

Thanks for those scientists - definitely checking them out immediately.

And yep - I read the same research. But then, to confuse things, there are people who are starting companies that are built on telling women how to train during their cycles.

Exactly! I have attained the maturity to resign to the fact that this is how it will be. And there is no point getting worked up . I just focus on my work and try to give my clients genuine information because I care. And that's all that matters.

Very well written about an often ignored topic. Thank you! I first read about the bias in research in the book Invisible women by Caroline Criado-Perez. It is refreshing to see someone bringing such topics up for discussion :)

Thank you. And timely reminder. That book has been on my to-read list for too long.
